Ingredients to make the dough
• 300 gr. Of flour
• 70 gr. virgin or extra virgin olive oil from Europe
• Water (85-90 ml)
• Egg yolk
• Salt
• Sugar
Preparation
1. Put all the ingredients in a bowl and knead with your fingers until we get a homogeneous dough. Then, let it rest in the refrigerator for an hour, and in an airtight container. Finally, stretch the dough with the help of a rolling pin, cut it and place it in the mold that you are going to use. If your idea is to make canapés without a mold, you will only have to cut it and give it the desired shape with your fingers.
2. From here, the imagination plays in your favor. If you want to make cold canapes, you must first put the dough in the oven at 180 degrees for 10-12 minutes. When you remove them, you can place the ingredients you want on the dough: spreadable cheese with quince jelly; pâté with almonds; surimi, mayonnaise and salmon, brie cheese with jam and walnuts, etc.
3. In case you are going to present hot appetizers, place the ingredients in the dough and put it all in the oven. For example: ham and cheese; brie cheese and tomato jam; quail egg with serrano ham, etc.
